As we're constantly trying to find alternative fuels, the University of South Australia has build an awesome rig. The Trev can go 0-60 in 10 seconds, has a top speed of 75 MPH, and a range of 100 miles per charge. It costs less than an Australian dollor per 100Km to run which is about 86 cents for every 62 miles. The car has 2 comfortable seats with room for a pair of overnight bags. So far, no word on a production version. Oh, and it only has 3 wheels!

Amazing. I heard about Red One Cameras from a friend about a month ago. He was stressing how amazing they were. Well, WonderHowTo.com rented a Red One video camera, took some people and Perez Hilton into the mountains and shot a snowball fight. The camera shoots 4K resolution footage and this result is slightly lower resolution than the Red One can actually support. (We don't currently have the video so click the link below to view video).

Although, not very original, it seems to be a real looker at first. Those interested can look foward to a 2.8-inch 320x240 AMOLED display, FM tuner/recorder and support for AVI, RM, BMP, RMVB, MP3, JPEG and GIF formats, and USB connectivity. Only $69 for the 2GB model and $82 for the 4GB edition.

DirectTV is moving up the branch, it's going to be rolling out its cellphone-enabled mobile DVR scheduling for its HR20-700 units. What exactly does that mean? Well, you'll be able to hop on your cellphone and queue up whatever shows you'd like to watch when you get home. Some other models will be released in February.

Well MacWorld was in San Francisco this past week and one of the things they announced is iTunes movie rentals. Is this Netflix' newest competitor? According to The New York Times, the two are actually aiming at different markets. It was found that most of the stream able content was older and that users of this service can never look forward to brand new releases being available due to the cost. Apple, they say, is focusing more on the fresher selection.
