Soon to be announced, Dell's E-Series, and everyone is liking what they see. "So far we know there will be a 4.25 pound / 14.1-inch and 5 pound / 15.4-inch version, both with WXGA and WXGA+ LED backlit displays, as well as a 12-inch (pictured above) and 13.3-inch version for road warrior types. Expect DisplayPort, eSATA, plenty of USB ports, and PC or ExpressCard slots in the larger models."
I'm a huge Sony Vaio fan, and Sony has released some updates for the Type T. It'll be upgraded to 1.2GHz Core 2 Duo U7600, goes from 1GB to 2GB of RAM and the new designs are across the board. Next, the 17-inch Type A will house a Core 2 Duo T8100 CPU, a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8400M and a Blu-ray burner to boot. Wowza!
If you're one of the anxious ones to get your hands on the new Macbook Air, Tuesday you'll be able to. Word is, they're already in the stores, and you'll be able to nab them...on Tuesday!

•Fujitsu-Siemens will join the parade with the Amilo Xi 2550 / 2428
•Sony will have a piece of the Penryn pie with four new VAIO lappies (FZ31, SZ71, CR31 and AR61.)"
No one is entirely sure why Asus announced its new laptop prior to CES, but no ones questioning the quality. Vista from Basic to Ultimate, Core Duo ULV or Centrino, 11.1 inch 1366x768 LED backlit display, 32 GB SSD option, 802.11 a/b/g, up to 4GB RAM all packed into a 2.75 pound and 1.1 inches. It also comes with a high resolution built in cam which is one of the smallest lenses available.
We've seen a few different sweet mods with the Eee PC before, but nothing quite this intelligent. This stunning touch screen mod is the best we've encountered so far. It seems as if it's running XP and has a $60 eBay car touch screen added. Check out the video to see it in action.
