As we're constantly trying to find alternative fuels, the University of South Australia has build an awesome rig. The Trev can go 0-60 in 10 seconds, has a top speed of 75 MPH, and a range of 100 miles per charge. It costs less than an Australian dollor per 100Km to run which is about 86 cents for every 62 miles. The car has 2 comfortable seats with room for a pair of overnight bags. So far, no word on a production version. Oh, and it only has 3 wheels!

DirectTV is moving up the branch, it's going to be rolling out its cellphone-enabled mobile DVR scheduling for its HR20-700 units. What exactly does that mean? Well, you'll be able to hop on your cellphone and queue up whatever shows you'd like to watch when you get home. Some other models will be released in February.

TiVo has just reported that they have a deal with software provider Nero AG that will bring its interface to the PC. Nero will embed the TiVo experience in its next software. Nero's international presence will definitely help the company spread. Hopefully this new PC solution will convince other companies to bring more to the PC.

Thanks to our friends over at Engadget, they've gotten a visual walk-through of Google's new mobile phone platform. They say the ride was a bit familiar but that’s what the open source community is there for. Take a look.

Sadly I have already seen Christmas decorations in local shop windows.
This just makes the impending holiday season more real.
For $30 you can get a set of Solar Powered Christmas lights from Hammagher.
Great idea! why were they not thought up before now and can you connect them to a computer to coordinate them with Music?
