![]() We've already heard about Central Japan Railway Company's intentions to deploy a speedy new maglev system. Looks like things are now starting to get official and they wish to have it up and running no sooner than 2025. There will be at least 180 miles of track stretching from Tokyo to central Japan, which will accommodate a maglev train capable of topping out at 310MPH making it the worlds fastest.
