![]() Sanyo today took the wraps off its new Y:TV, a 32-inch model with a built-in hard disk recorder. The recorder, which has 160GB of storage capacity at its disposal, works with the TV’s Freeview tuner and can be set to record upcoming programmes using the accompanying 7-day electronic programme guide. The TV is also HD ready, thanks to its HDMI and component video inputs, and comes with a unique TIMEDOMAIN detachable speaker system offering “richer, fuller” 3D Surround Sound. Another neat feature is the removable screen surround, which you can replace with different coloured versions. The Y:TV (or CE32LDY1, to give it its full title) will go on sale in May, and the price is yet to be confirmed. More info @ T3.
