This new fan-made mockup has everyone wanting one. Although the placement of the L and R triggers is a little odd, it's still an amazing device. Gank that UMD, add some flash memory, and this is our be-all end-all fantasy portable gaming device -- that will likely never ever be made.

It starts shipping on the 28th in either black or white.

Although, not very original, it seems to be a real looker at first. Those interested can look foward to a 2.8-inch 320x240 AMOLED display, FM tuner/recorder and support for AVI, RM, BMP, RMVB, MP3, JPEG and GIF formats, and USB connectivity. Only $69 for the 2GB model and $82 for the 4GB edition.

If you're an avid golfer like me, you'll definitely want to check this out. Seems like uPlay wants to help break down that handicap for you with their new GPS device which will aid your golf game. uPro describes the device as the "iPhone of golf GPS technology." Exactly what earns it that designation, we're not sure, but the device will let golfers determine the distance to holes from their current location, and give them aerial photography, video flyovers, and details on course hazards, among other things. Nothing has come in yet about pricing or a release date, but it probably will be revealed at the 2008 PGA Show in Orlando on January 16th.

This new kickass remote offers a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD, a shiny green MCE button and Sideshow options. The thing is a Class 1 Bluetooth device and also comes with it's own docking station. The remote lets you control up to 20 devices from 50 feet away. All the buttons are backlit making the remote look really nice. Unfortunately you won't be able to use this remote to control all your new gear because it comes out next February, but you can save yourself a few greenbacks and pre-order it now for $274.
